Enrichment Walk: A Walk Worth Sniffing
Sensory-Focused Outings with Added Fun and Mental Stimulation
Our Enrichment Walk Sessions go beyond the standard walk — they’re designed to engage your dog’s senses, stimulate their brain, and support their overall wellbeing.
Each session takes your dog to a location chosen for its variety of smells, sights, sounds, and textures — think nature trails, open fields, or quiet parks. We move at your dog’s pace, allowing plenty of time to sniff, explore, and decompress.
But the experience doesn’t stop there — we also include purposeful enrichment activities throughout the walk. These may include:
- “Find it” games using hidden treats to engage your dog’s nose and brain
- Interactive play tailored to your dog’s preferences and energy level
- Confidence-building activities, like exploring natural obstacles
- Calming decompression time in peaceful, quiet environments
Why enrichment walks?
Sniffing and exploring activates the thinking part of the brain, offering both mental and physical benefits. Just 20 minutes of enriched walking can leave your dog more satisfied than a longer, overstimulating walk. These sessions are especially helpful for dogs who:
- Are anxious, reactive, or easily overstimulated
- Need an outlet beyond just physical exercise
- Thrive on variety, choice, and calm engagement
- Benefit from structured play and purposeful interaction
What’s included:
- One-on-one, trainer-led enrichment walk
- Carefully chosen environments to match your dog’s temperament
- Built-in enrichment games like treat-finding, confidence play, and exploring
- A calmer, happier, and more mentally fulfilled dog at the end of the session
- Post-walk update on what your dog explored and enjoyed
Let your dog experience the world on their terms — through their nose, paws, and curiosity. Enrichment walks don’t just burn energy — they build better balance.
